Truth be said, Nigerian army is no longer a professional force. It was almost defeated in Liberia by the rag tag army of Charles Taylor and if the British had not intervened to break the deadlock in Sierra Leone, the same would have happened.
However, to avoid heavy blood shed, i agree with those suggesting asymmetric warfare with rigged artillery shells and ambushes of troops on patrol. In the end, the battle will be expanded into other major Nigerian cities with bomb blasts at targeted instruments of the FG. Buhari will spend the scare resources equipping his troops for a mission impossible they are about to embark upon. If a bloody nose isn't given to Nigerian forces by luring them into heavily booby trapped areas, none of the demands of the Delta will be met by Buhari and his tribal war lords.
